History of Pozitron Company
The history of the company dates back to 1980. Pozitron remains a family business today and is currently owned by the descendants of the founder of Farzaliyev family line.
With a continued interest in agriculture, the third generation of this family has dedicated themselves to growing products under “Baku Tomatoes” brand.
Since the beginning of 1980’s, during the distant Soviet years, the Farzaliyev family, following ancient traditions, began to specialize in the production of Baku tomatoes and cucumbers.
Despite the difficulties of the Soviet era and the lack of a market economy, the hard work and care for a large family made them successful in a short period of time: in short while Soviet man's diet included the perfect taste of Absheron vegetables. This was all despite the fact that farmers faced the real difficulties of their time - lack of high technologies and logistics hubs, and the use of simple, plain greenhouses.

2009 and 2020
- In 2009, the first stage of greenhouses with an area of 2 ha was built and put into operation.
- In 2020, the second stage of greenhouses with an area of 5 ha was built and put into operation.
- It is planned to increase the area of greenhouses to 12 ha in the coming years.
